April first I move into my air conditioned apartment.  Oh, how I look forward to that.  Where I am located is in a flat area with little wind, where the fertile soil is used for rice paddies, which boil and create just a wee bit of humidity here.  Yesserie.... a cool drink of anything is nice on a day like today.

I am headed to Bangkok for a 4 day stretch.  I have a meeting but will stay there and work from a hotel, and hang with some old friends at night.  I am going to some huge bash on Saturday that is hosted by the most popular DJs in Thailand, so it should be pretty interesting.  Was invited by some folks I knew 6-7 years ago.  Strange how things change but remain the same. 

And now for something completely different.

This pic was taken by a crazy Thai tour guide who got on his back to take this picture at the very beautiful Wat Pho in Bangkok.  It holds either the largest or second largest reclining Buddha in Thailand.  Kathleen is my first volounteer and is now working at an orphanage in Bangkok.
